Pitschi has played at over 60 UK theatres and children's festivals since its premiere in 2014

For younger children and their grown ups.

Pitschi doesn't like the rough and tumble and mischievous fun of kitten play and dreams of being something else - a chicken, perhaps, or a goat or rabbit… for after all, anything is better than being cat! Join Pitschi on her adventure around the farm to meet other animals – only to discover that she can be happy by being exactly what she is.

Following the show, children in the audience will be invited to the front of the stage to meet and play with the animal characters.

This play is based on Swiss author and illustrator Hans Fischer’s award-winning picture book, Pitschi, a tale that has delighted generations of children – and cat lovers – all around the world.

Workshop

An optional drama and arts & craft workshop is available after the performance with fun games inspired by the animals in the play followed by a session where the children get to create and decorate their own kitten mask. The workshop is for a maximum of 25 children aged 4 and over and lasts for 40 minutes.
